PRIMARY MEDICAL CARE
Primary medical
care is the basic care we all need – and the essential
service that Whitman-Walker Clinic has provided for decades:
regular medical checkups, tests and blood work, and special
care when you’re sick.
Primary medical care is available at all of our facilities and includes regular checkups; walk-in care for existing clients; internal medicine; prenatal, postpartum and neonatal care; pediatric care; and gynecological services.
Anyone can come to Whitman-Walker Clinic
for health care – not just the GLBT community and/or
people with HIV or AIDS. But if you are gay, lesbian, bisexual
or transgender, or if you have HIV or AIDS, Whitman-Walker
Clinic will provide you with the comprehensive, compassionate,
culturally sensitive care you want and need – and can’t
always get from other health care providers.
If you are looking for a provider who understands
your unique needs and who has decades of experience in offering
compassionate, culturally competent health care, come to Whitman-Walker.
