Going the Extra Mile
Going the Extra Mile is an annual reception and awards ceremony benfitting Whitman-Walker Legal Services. Going the Extra Mile 2010 will be held on Tuesday, May 25, at the House of Sweden, 2900 K Street, NW, at 6:30 pm. The event will feature presentation of the Joel A. Toubin Memorial Award to Anthony S. Fauci, MD, and presentation of the 2010 Going the Extra Mile Law Firm Award to Arnold & Porter LLP. Legal Community AIDS Walk Task Force (LCAT)
LCAT is the Legal Community AIDS Walk Task force which is a group of legal professionals who volunteer to raise money for the AIDS Walk from the metropolitan-Washington legal community. Since its inception LCAT has raised more than $2 million for Whitman-Walker Legal Services in conjunction with the annual AIDS Walk.
