COUNSELING & TESTING
Confidential
testing for HIV is offered to the general public at all of
our sites. HIV testing is free of charge but donations
are suggested.
Whitman-Walker Clinic uses a rapid HIV test that delivers
results in 20 minutes.
Testing is available without an appointment.
HIV Mobile Testing Unit
Whitman-Walker Clinic operates a mobile HIV
testing unit that goes into communities at risk and provides
HIV testing and prevention education.

- Testing for the Hearing Impaired
is also available. Individual appointments can be arranged
by calling 202-797-4454 through a relay
service.
- Testing is also available at the
STD Clinic from 6:00-7:30 pm on Tuesdays
and Thursdays at the Elizabeth Taylor Medical Center.
- Testing is also performed at festivals,
