ACCESSING HIV/AIDS SERVICES

If you are HIV-positive and would like to receive services at Whitman-Walker Clinic, please call our new client appointment line at 202-939-7690. You will be scheduled to meet with a counselor who will learn more about you, help you to identify the programs and services you need, and work with you to develop a plan of care that's right for you, your family and loved ones. You will be provided with information about services available through the Clinic and other organizations. Counselors are available at our locations in Northwest and Southeast D.C. and Virginia. To access services at the Whitman-Walker Clinic location nearest you, please call 202-939-7690.

If you were recently diagnosed as HIV-positive, feel anxious and would like to speak with someone as soon as possible, you may call our Mental Health Crisis Intervention Line at 202-797-4444. The counselor will schedule a time for you to meet with either them or another counselor within the next business day. The counselor will provide information about HIV disease and treatment options, support groups for the newly diagnosed, counseling and public benefits that may be available to you at Whitman-Walker Clinic and in the community.
