Knowledge is Power
At LSP, we provide the most current, relevant health information to our clients and to the broader community. Mainstream media messages about hormone replacement therapy, depression, cigarette smoking, breast cancer and heart disease are rarely designed to reach women who partner with women. At LSP we believe that health education is an essential part of preventative health care. Educated consumers are more empowered to advocate for themselves in the health system.

We’ll Come to You
LSP does its best to be present at hot spots all over the DC metro area. We work to have health information available at many different venues, from social groups to bars to shelters to Pride events to health and wellness fairs. In addition, LSP will provide a workshop on anything from Safer Sex to Breast Health for you, your friends, or your community organization. If you know of an event, meeting or venue that you would like LSP to be present at, please contact us.

Cultural Competency Training
Education in serving the spectrum of lesbians, bisexual women and
transgender people is available for medical and mental health providers through LSP.
